Summer Beach Services

SHABBAT BY THE SEA - Friday Evening Beach Services - Summer 2023

Kabbalat Shabbat ​at State Beach
Fridays from June 30 to   September 1   at 6:00 pm 
August 4 - Ruth Faden speaks on the Navigator Homes MV project for Elder Housing.
Attendance at the Beach, and at all Friday Services this Summer,   will be in person only. ​No remote ZOOM attendance.

In case of inclement weather, services will be moved to the Hebrew Center.
Bring a Chair or blanket smiley

DIRECTIONS

Our Friday evening beach Services are held at State Beach, between the 2 bridges at the Camp Jabberwocky parking  area. 

Coming from Oak Bluffs, it is 1.4 miles past Noman's (formerly Lola's) Restaurant (see map below), or 0.9 miles past the first bridge.

Coming from Edgartown it is 2.2 miles past the Square Rigger Restaurant on the Triangle (see map below) or 0.4 miles past the "Jaws Bridge."

Look for the purple "Shalom" banner on the roadside!  Services start at 6:00 pm.  Bring a chair or blanket, bring friends!
