A Conversation about democracy in Israel, with Peter Beinart and Oz Ben-Amram, in the wake of the Knesset vote to overhaul the Judiciary.

Peter Beinart is Professor of Journalism and Political Science at the Newmark School of Journalism at City University of New York.  He is also a Contributing Opinion Writer at The New York Times and a CNN Political Commentator. Peter is the  Editor-at-Large of Jewish Currents.  Peter is also a Non-Resident Fellow at the Foundation for Middle East Peace. Peter  has also been on MSNBC.  

 

Oz Benamram is an Israeli American lawyer and was a major in the Israel Defense Forces. He was a founder of the Israeli Business Forum of New York and has served on the International Council of the New Israel Fund. He currently serves on the board of the American Friends of the Parents Circle Families Forum.  Oz is active in the leadership of USA for Israeli Democracy.
